I actually came up with this melody right after my album release in March of 2007. (Yes its been sitting in the burner for almost 2 years) It was made for my fiance’ (she is my wife now). Initially i wanted to play this song at my wedding but when I first played it to her she mentioned that it had a tinge of sadness. She was probably right. I had not seen her in ages and it was inspired by that feeling of longing for the one you love. In my case absence inspires :) (and makes the heart grow fonder).
