I came up with this melody in the summer of 2005 when my then girlfriend (now wife) left for the summer. I had seen her for the last time (probably for a few months) and was at Iraj’s place jamming when this melody came to me.
A few days later the song was done with lyrics and Vasantha did a great job of writing to the concept. It will always be one of the most sentimental songs I ever did. Although there is some sadness in the song there is some hope as well. Devashee laid down some of the best harmonies you can ask for.
