Ranidu Lankage is the undisputed icon of Sri Lankan RnB and hip hop who has captured the imagination of the Sri Lankan masses with his breathtaking voice and enigmatic compositions. He is also the individual who has single handedly taken the genre of Sri Lankan RnB/ pop to new and never before seen heights in the international arena. Ranidu is the first Sri Lankan artist to be played on the venerated Radio1 of the BBC and also the creator of the first Sinhalese single to be played on MTV, channel V and Z music India.

- Ranidu tied up with Mobitel in 2009/10 on the Sebalanani project in aid of the dead and disabled soldiers of the Sri Lanka army.
- Ranidu was the first Sri Lankan artist to premier a Sinhalese video on MTV World (Sebalanani was featured in September 2010)
- Ranidu’s music was featured on giant global media portals and publications such as MTV World, MTV Desi, Bloomberg and NPR in 2010.
- Voted as a top 10 artist in Sri Lanka in 2010 by fans at the Derana Music video awards. (Equivalent of MTV VMA’s in Sri Lanka)
